Greetings,
The Greek community at Oklahoma State University would like to welcome you to the Interfraternity Council's website. Fraternities have been an integral part of the rich history of Oklahoma State University for 100 years. We would like to share with you some information about Greek life on campus and also provide several valuable resources for you throughout this website. Right now there are 20 fraternities with more than 1,400 individuals involved in our organizations.
All of the chapters in IFC focus on developing their members into better leaders, while placing a large focus on academics and community service. An integral part of Greek life is the sense of brotherhood developed by the chapter's members. IFC strives to strengthen those bonds to the whole Greek community on Oklahoma State's campus.
Please feel free to explore our site and contact us for more information.
Thanks,
Matt Howard
Interfraternity Council President

Fraternity & Sorority Affairs Mission Statement
|
Although the University acknowledges, supports, and values self-governance as part of the collegiate Greek experience, the University believes that self-directed activities can be facilitated and enhanced through stable and guiding relationships with qualified and experienced professional personnel of the University. Therefore, the Office of Fraternity & Sorority Affairs personnel are responsible to advise the self-directed activities of the governing councils of the Greek Community, including Interfraternity, Multicultural Greek, National Pan-Hellenic, and Panhellenic Councils. The role of such advisement includes coordinating, training, guiding, counseling, supporting and assisting the councils to function effectively within the frameworks of the University, North-American Interfraternity Conference, National Panhellenic Conference, and National Pan-Hellenic Council policies.
Two full-time professionals, a full-time senior unit assistant, and three half time graduate assistants staff the Office of Fraternity & Sorority Affairs. Ival Gregory, Manager of F&SA, interacts primarily with the Interfraternity Council and the National Pan-Hellenic Council and their member organizations. Liz Osborne, Coordinator of F&SA, interacts primarily with Panhellenic Council and Multicultural Greek Council, and their member organizations. Krista Bennitt, Graduate Assistant, assists Liz and works closely with Order of Omega. Zach Basden, Graduate Assistant, assists Ival and advises Greek Ambassadors. Scott Robin, Graduate Assistant assists both Liz and Ival with the Multicultural Greek Council and the National Pan-Hellenic Council.
The Office of Fraternity & Sorority Affairs is located in the basement of the Classroom Building in Room 031. |
